MISSION
In June of 1992, with much foresight and consideration for the students and teachers of the Bellville and Butler community, a group of concerned citizens created the Clear Fork Valley Foundation, a non-profit organization. The Clear Fork Valley Foundation is classified as a 501(c)(3) corporation. The purpose of the Clear Fork Valley Foundation is to foster education within the Clear Fork Valley community and to improve the general well-being of the community with support from the Clear Fork Valley Foundation. The financial resources generated are allocated to groups and individuals to improve the schools and community.
MISSION STATEMENT
OUR MISSION
The Clear Fork Valley Foundation, a private non-profit corporation, is an endowment fund for academic scholarships and grants. We are dedicated to encouraging academic achievement and promoting excellence in education for students of all levels and abilities.
OUR GOALS
The goals of the Foundation are to encourage both students and educators:
- To strive for excellence in education
- To embrace educational challenges, and
- To develop skills that prepare them for their future roles as valued community members and civic business leaders.
GRANT AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
Foundation grant and scholarship programs are established on the following premises:
- The need for education exists regardless of an individual's race, religion, sex or economic background.
- Education is the responsibility of the student
The Clear Fork Valley Foundation has issued more than $130,000 in grants and scholarships to hundreds of recipients.
