WHAT IS PLANNED GIVING?
The generous gifts and contributions of our friends enable the Clear Fork Valley Foundation to implement its educational programs. These gifts are received as part of a planned giving program.
Planned giving is a means by which a contributor directs the disposition of property during his/her lifetime. The contributor sees the benefits of his or her contribution and gains peace of mind in knowing that the donated property has been directed as he/she wishes. Lifetime gifts are unlike wills that become a matter of public record after probate. They remain a private matter.

TAX ADVANTAGES
We would appreciate your contributions to the Clear Fork Valley Foundation. You should, however, consult your tax adviser to determine the tax impact on your particular situation.
There may be important tax advantages for lifetime gifts. Charitable contributions may result in current income tax reduction, may reduce federal estate taxes, and the Foundation will not be taxed for this money.
