In June of 1992, with much foresight and consideration for the students and teachers of the Bellville and Butler community, a group of concerned citizens created the Clear Fork Valley Foundation, a non-profit organization. The Clear Fork Valley Foundation is classified as a 501(c)(3) corporation. The purpose of the Clear Fork Valley Foundation is to foster education within the Clear Fork Valley community and to improve the general well-being of the community with support from the Clear Fork Valley Foundation. The financial resources generated are allocated to groups and individuals to improve the schools and community.

The foundation mailing address is Clear Fork Valley Foundation, P.O. Box 533, Bellville, OH 44813. The Foundation conducts monthly Board of Trustee meetings at the Butler Clear Fork Adult Center, located at 20 West Henry Street, Butler, OH 44822.
