SCHOLARSHIPS


In June of 1992, with much foresight and consideration for the students and teachers of the Bellville and Butler community, a group of concerned citizens created the Clear Fork Valley Foundation, a non-profit organization. The Clear Fork Valley Foundation is classified as a 501(c)(3) corporation. The purpose of the Clear Fork Valley Foundation is to foster education within the Clear Fork Valley community and to improve the general well-being of the community with support from the Clear Fork Valley Foundation. The financial resources generated are allocated to groups and individuals to improve the schools and community.


Kathie Joy Carr Life Sciences Memorial Scholarship

Kathy Joy Carr Life Sciences Memorial Scholarship was established in 2001 by Bud and Diane Carr. It is presented to a student who has excelled in Life Sciences courses

This year's scholarship was presented by Kathie Joy's mother, Diane Carr, to Laura Lull who has a Red Cross Volunteer, in the Spirit Club, French Club, Junior Board, Ski Club, SADD, Science Club, History Club, Academic Achievement, Academic Letter Club, Varsity Letter Club, National Honor Society, Cross Country, Track, Symphonic Choir (Vice President), Guidance Office Worker, Tutor, and Choir.
