SCHOLARSHIPS
In June of 1992, with much foresight and
consideration for the students and teachers of the Bellville and Butler
community, a group of concerned citizens created the Clear Fork Valley
Foundation, a non-profit organization. The Clear Fork Valley Foundation
is classified as a 501(c)(3) corporation. The purpose of the Clear Fork
Valley Foundation is to foster education within the Clear Fork Valley
community and to improve the general well-being of the community with
support from the Clear Fork Valley Foundation. The financial resources
generated are allocated to groups and individuals to improve the schools
and community.

This year's scholarship was awarded by Dave Bellan to Katherine Hauser, who has been to work camps in many areas and will be attending one in Wyoming, Delaware this summer. Workcamps help less fortunate families to fix and spruce up their homes. With her church youth group she has attended Diamon View for crafts & bingo for the past 4 years. She has participated in project supports for Disability Awareness week and the 2004 New Hope Disability Awareness Day. She will be attending Elizabethtown College and is undecided about her major.
