SCHOLARSHIPS


In June of 1992, with much foresight and consideration for the students and teachers of the Bellville and Butler community, a group of concerned citizens created the Clear Fork Valley Foundation, a non-profit organization. The Clear Fork Valley Foundation is classified as a 501(c)(3) corporation. The purpose of the Clear Fork Valley Foundation is to foster education within the Clear Fork Valley community and to improve the general well-being of the community with support from the Clear Fork Valley Foundation. The financial resources generated are allocated to groups and individuals to improve the schools and community.


G. F. Stoodt Family Scholarship in Math

G. F. Stoodt Family Scholarship in Math was the first endowed scholarship established in 1993 at the Clear Fork Valley Foundation by Margery Stoodt and is presented annually to a student outstanding in Math.

This year's scholarship was presented by Margery Stoodt to Kevin Little, an oustanding student who ranked #1 in a class of 132. He had an overall GPA of 4.122. He has been class president for 4 years, National Honor Society, Artisans, Show Choir, Mock Trial, Cross Country, Track, Marching and Concert Bands, spring musicals, SADD, Community Action for Capable Youth, Academic Challenge, Church Youth Group, Student Delegation, History, Science, Spanish and Computer Clubs, District Youth Board, District Technology Curriculum Committee, and Math Tutor.
